Many people do not know that when a person in New York State is injured in a motor vehicle accident, the car insurance, not the private health insurance, will be initially responsible for paying the medical bills. In this case, the auto insurance for the car the student was driving should be paying the medical bills. However, the car insurance company has to receive a properly completed No fault application within 30 days, otherwise, the insurance company can try to disclaim all coverage.Personal injury litigation has many deadlines to file papers. For this reason, it is imperative to find an experienced personal injury lawyer right away when an accident occurs.
