BRETT J. NOMBERG

Brett J. Nomberg is a partner and the senior trial attorney responsible for managing the personal injury department.  Mr. Nomberg has been trying personal injury cases for the last 16 years with several recent multi-million dollar verdicts.  Between 2006 and 2009, Mr. Nomberg obtained two multi-million dollar jury verdicts and a one and a half million dollar jury verdict in claims involving medical malpractice, a construction accident, and an auto accident.  In addition to trying cases, Mr. Nomberg is an accomplished Appellate Attorney who has successfully written, argued, and won over 10 appeals before the Appellate Division.

Mr. Nomberg received his Bachelor of Arts from SUNY @ Albany in 1990 and earned his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in 1993.  Mr. Nomberg is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers, the N.Y.S. Trial Lawyers Association, and the New York City Bar Association, Tort Litigation Committee. 

STEVEN E. ROSENBAUM

Steven E. Rosenbaum is the managing partner of our Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Department.

Each year, Mr. Rosenbaum fights to obtain substantial awards for our clients. During his career, Mr. Rosenbaum has successfully litigated thousands of cases before State, Administrative and Federal Court Judges. 

Mr. Rosenbaum earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1994 and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1991.

THOMAS S. PARDO

Thomas Pardo is the Senior Associate responsible for litigating our personal injury and medical malpractice cases with 11 years experience in personal injury litigation. Mr. Thomas Pardo began his career fighting to protect people's civil rights as a criminal defense attorney.  Mr. Pardo is an accomplished trial attorney and his trial experience has led to several large verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients.

Thomas Pardo graduated cum laude from the Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, L.A. in 1993 and is a member of the New York State bar since 1995.

DEL H. BRAND

Mr. Brand retired in 2004 after 20 successful years with the firm as the senior managing partner.  Mr. Brand gained his initial experience in personal injury law working with various top rated firms. In 1980, Mr. Brand formed a partnership with his father, Herman Brand, which flourished into one of New York State’s leading personal injury firms as it remains today.

HERMAN D. BRAND

As the founding partner of this firm, Herman Brand believed in maintaining the highest standards of excellence for his clients. He was a consummate gentleman, who built this firm on solid moral values and superior representation. Herman Brand began practicing law in the 1930’s and, after working with several experienced trial and appellate attorneys, opened his own firm in 1960’s. Twenty years later, Herman Brand and his son, Del Brand, formed a partnership. During a lifetime in the legal profession, Herman Brand represented his clients with the same passion and vigor which remains with the firm today.

Justyna

Justyna works as a paralegal in the Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Department.  Justyna began in 2009 and has quickly learned the responsibilities of the position.  Justyna helps process No-Fault benefits for our clients involved in car accidents.  Justyna speaks Polish and has close ties with this community. 

Kenisha

Kenisha has worked at the firm for over 8 years and works with her sister Diana in the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Department. Kenisha speaks Spanish and works closely with this community. Kenisha helps prepare each client’s file for upcoming hearings and communicates extensively with doctors, clients, and insurance companies.

Vicky

Vicky is the office manager and has been a paralegal with the firm for over 11 years working in the Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Department.  Vicky speaks Russian and has close ties with this community.  Vicky is responsible for managing the case calendar and all assisting with the trial preparation.

Diana

Diana has been a paralegal with the firm for over 8 years working in the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Department.  Diana speaks Spanish and works closely with this community.  Diana maintains the trial calendar and communicates extensively with doctors, clients, and insurance companies.
